My Little Musician

Hudson loves music. He sings along with whatever song is on the radio and pretends everything is a guitar....He loves guitars. He's too funny playing his guitar and singing whatever song he can come up with. Sometimes Brady and Ella join him for a little concert...it's really cute!! They never cease to keep me laughing!!

Cruthirds Children Concert !!
I think he's singing in this one.
I love his stance...those feet are too cute!
Does anyone have any requests?

I'll be on a "big stage" one day!

Ella's 1st Cupcake

One of the little girls in Ella's moms morning out group recently had her birthday and the mom brought cupcakes to celebrate. She was covered with pink and yellow icing, but she didn't mind!!! I think she really liked them!! The next week they had their Easter party, but this time they kept the mess to a minimum and served cookies Know, I know some of you may be thinking "How old is Ella....Is she even old enough for cupcakes?" But, you must remember she is the 3rd child and once you get to the third you "relax" a little as a mother and realize that a cupcake before the first birthday really won't scar your child for life. They really will continue to eat their veggies. A cupcake here and there is actually one of the simple pleasures of life that make childhood so enjoyable!
Wow! This looks like fun!
The little boy is more interested in Ella's cup than his cupcake. I think that's how Ella got the pink icing....she took his cupcake.

Yeah! This is soo much fun!

Yummy, Yummy!
When is my birthday? I want to do this again!

Easter Party. Cookies are yummy, but not as messy!
One last bite!
Do we have any cupcakes?

Happy Easter!

This year we celebrated Easter with my sister and her family. After church, we went to Kim's house for lunch and then our 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt. My sister and her kids dye about 8 dozen eggs every Easter. My sister displays them so nicely as her table centerpiece. After lunch, we hide the eggs and then the kids find them. We let the smaller kids get a head start and then send out the big kids. Once all the eggs are found, the adults have to go inside while the kids hide the eggs. We then come out and find the eggs - I think that's the kids favorite part. As we celebrated the Resurrection of our Savior, it was so nice to sit around and celebrate the laughter and joy of our children playing. Happy Easter!

Happy Birthday KK!

Last Thursday, April 5th, was my sister's birthday! My mom cooked a wonderful dinner for everyone and then we had "Cake Shoppe" cake and ice cream. My brother and his girlfriend were there so it was a great celebration with all of our family. My brother-in-law gave my sister a pair of beautiful diamond earrings. I tried to get a picture, but it didn't turn out so well. Happy Birthday Aunt KK!!! We love you!!

Welcome Andrew Thomas Lowery!

Our Good friends from the Coast, Jason and Angelle Lowery, had their baby this afternoon around 1:35. His name is Andrew Thomas Lowery. He weighed 7 lbs even and was 20 1/2 inches - I think that's right. Angelle and baby are doing great. I don't have any pics yet, but I'm hoping to go see him very soon. I'll post pics as soon as I get some. Congratulations Jason and Angelle!!

Happy Birthday Jacob!

My nephew, Jacob, celebrated his 4th birthday on March 27th. His party was March 24th at my sister's house. My sister rented one of those large inflatable slides which was a hit!! The kids loved that thing....even Ella thought it was fun. I can't believe Jacob is four....that means Brady is almost 5!!! Happy Birthday Jacob!

My niece, Mary Katharine, & Ella taking a ride on Brady's 4-wheeler!

Mommy's Helper

At the ripe age of 2, Hudson has decided to become "Mr. Independent" and wants to do everything for himself. He wants to get dressed by himself, try to pour his own milk or juice in his cup, make his own sandwiches, bathe himself, climb up the swingset by himself, etc. He also likes to copy everything Brady does and says, which is not always a good thing. Lately, his newest thing is to help me do everything - cook, clean, wash clothes, vacuum, and even feed Ella. I must admit he's pretty good at feeding her the only problem is I never know who eats more, Hudson or Ella.

Look Mommy! I can feed Ella.
You have a bite....I have a bite.
Mmm! This is really Good!
